I am glad I finally did, and disappointed I hadn't sooner.
The staff was plentiful and helpful, and answered all my questions regarding native birds and their particular tastes.
I would definitely recommend stopping in whether it is on a whim, or looking for specifics after renovating a garden, or just looking to add a "wild garden accent" to your home.
Prepare to spend some time here if you like birds and garden. Like shopping in the wild.
Prices were fair, some stuff a bit expensive, but the quality is worth it. Nothing here is cheaply made.
Wild garden accents has so much more than just stuff for birds, they have an excellent selection of pond materials and supplies, as well as aquatic plants. Lots of really nice pottery to choose from, especially the talavera stuff.
Love this place! Always find something I like for my garden, or a unique gift for a friend.
I love shopping/browsing here. It's like a combination nature center/zoo/museum/library/art gallery/gift shop. Got a difficult person to buy for? Don't get that grumpy grandpaw more aftershave or cologne, what he really wants is a more fun/original way to feed his squirrels. Rainy day at the beach? Run the rugrats out here for an hour. Tell 'em not to touch anything unless it touches them first. Helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable staff. You're sure to leave with something whimsical to decorate your hum-drum cold-weather home (just be sure you have room for it in the family truckster). TIP: keep an eye on the kidlets and look and look again when entering/exiting. Store is located at a very busy intersection and the locals are famously intolerant of out-of-staters ;-)
I needed a couple of new bird feeders and seed this year, and have always wanted to stop in here.
This place is simply amazing. They have any and everything you can think of, from hummingbird attraction tools, they have fish ponds on site with lily pads for sale, all kinds of beautiful lawn accents from owls to mermaids. Definitely worth the trip, you will be amazed at how large the property is to hold all the merchandize, they even had a lotus flower and pitcher plants
